International Student Information

This year we are delighted to welcome international students to join our summer intensive! Please be aware of any of the information below that may apply to international students.

Visa

Students are responsible for obtaining any necessary visas in order to attend the two-week summer intensive program. Please check with travel.state.gov or the United States Consulate and make any necessary arrangements. Enrollment in a short recreational course of study, which is not for credit toward a degree or academic certificate, like ours, is permitted on a visitor (B) visa.

Transportation + Housing

Students are responsible for arranging their own housing and transportation to-and-from Waldwick School of Ballet for the duration of the program. Students under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Student Medical Insurance

All students must have medical insurance and it is the student’s responsibility to arrange coverage. There are many options available online. Be sure to choose a plan that covers hospital emergency room visits.

Weekend Activities

The school is conveniently located less than an hour drive away from New York City, and the summer is a wonderful time to explore what the city has to offer. Weekend excursions planned and led by the studio staff are a great opportunity to visit famous sites and experience performances by leading dance companies.
The activity fee is not included in the program tuition.
