We are thrilled to invite all young dancers to be a part of our upcoming Nutcracker performance! Don’t miss the opportunity to participate in this cherished Christmas tradition and have a truly magical experience. The Nutcracker is a wonderful opportunity for dancers to immerse themselves in the world of classical ballet, understand repertoire, and dance to some of the most beautiful music ever composed. It’s a chance for your child to grow as a performer while creating memories that will last a lifetime. Registration is now open, and we can't wait to see the magic that your child will bring to the stage.
Rehearsals:
Saturdays: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM - Ballet 1 and 2
Saturdays: 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM - Ballet 3
Saturdays: 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM - Ballet 4 and 5
November 15th (Saturday): Tech Rehearsal (Waldwick School of Ballet)
November 26th (Wednesday): Dress Rehearsal (Waldwick School of Ballet) - No Regular classes
December 6th (Saturday): Dress Rehearsal (Waldwick School of Ballet) + Photoshoot
December 12th: Dress Rehearsal (Venue)

Nutcracker Fee: $450 (includes rehearsals, 1 costume, and participation fee. Tickets and extra costumes not included)

About our Nutcracker
Each holiday season, our studio comes together with our sister schools to bring The Nutcracker to life. This production has become a cherished tradition for our dancers and families, with students auditioning and rehearsing for weeks to prepare for this magical performance. Through dedication and teamwork, our students have the opportunity to shine on stage and share in the timeless beauty of The Nutcracker. We’re proud to keep this holiday classic alive, celebrating the season through the artistry and joy of dance.
The Story
On Christmas Eve in a small German town, young Clara receives a Nutcracker from her mysterious uncle, Drosselmeyer, at her family’s festive party. That night, Clara’s Nutcracker comes to life, leading her through a magical adventure where they battle the Mouse King, journey through a snow-filled forest, and arrive at the Kingdom of the Sweets. There, Clara is honored with dances from around the world, culminating in a grand celebration led by the Sugar Plum Fairy. As Clara awakens, she wonders if her enchanting journey was only a dream.
